Such a professional and knowledgeable team at Serendipity! Starting with walking in the door they always make you feel welcome. Place is super clean and very beautiful inside. They have multiple rooms for different services. This was my first Botox party to host here at this location, and they were very accommodating of all 15 ladies that attended. We had some ladies who were giving Botox a try for the first time and Megan H. Was able to make them feel comfortable and consult with them on the places she recommended Botox. What is Botox?

How does Botox work?

Botox is a purified protein that is injected into muscle tissue to temporarily weaken or paralyze specific muscles. It is used to treat wrinkles by relaxing the muscles that cause them.

The way Botox works is by temporarily paralyzing the muscles that cause wrinkles. This effect starts within 24 to 48 hours and lasts for three to four months, so you can see results in just one treatment.

When will I see the results?

How long does Botox last?

You may begin to notice results within 24-48 hours, with full results in 30 days, with results lasting up to four months for moderate to severe frown lines. Remember that results vary from patient to patient though, so your physician will plan your next appointment based on your results and aesthetic goals.

The effects of Botox last from three to four months on average, so you may need multiple treatments every few months. Your doctor will determine how often you need a treatment based on your individual needs and response to treatment.

What are the side effects?

Does getting Botox hurt?

Side effects are usually mild, consisting of redness, swelling and/or bruising at the injection site(s). Tell your doctor if any side effect becomes severe or continues after two weeks. Rarely, more severe reactions can occur.

We do our best to keep patients comfortable during their treatment. Like any injection, you might feel a pinch or stinging sensation as the needle goes in. The injections typically take about ten to twenty minutes to complete.
